More words
Hey, I've finally gotten around to uploading more words to the database. In fact, there have been over 59,000 new verified words added. So, that will help everyones game play, and get you winning those games, when you get stuck. Don't forget, if you're going to cheat, be discrete!
Functionality updates
Hello everyone, in response to your requests, you will have noticed we’ve updated the main page, making prefix, suffix, and anywhere field hidden by default. We’ve also added a nice smooth animation to the hide/show function. We’ve updated the docker container we use to deploy the app, so it deploys significantly faster than before. Also, in response to your requests, we’re busily working on an updated word list, so it is more in line with the Canadian/American dictionary in the Words with Friends 2® app. You’ll also notice that we’ve separated out the FAQ page and the Useful Word Lists pages. Keep on sending your Play of the Week entries, and congratulations to the winners!!! Cheers, Matty.
More words and Amazon Gift cards
We've completed a fair amount of work on updating the app, and ensuring that the UX is up to scratch. We've been knocked back for Ads (by Google and Adcash), but barg to that! We've added about 1,500 offical words from the Zynga website. POTW is up and running so get those games played and emailed to us for a chance to win!! Cheers for now, Simon.
Contact form added
We've added a contact form to the site so that visitors can now send us messages directly. The form includes the ever annoying Google reCAPTCHA to make sure you're not a robot. Do you think that there's robots that think they're human? Cheers, Matt!
More functionality added to App
Another iteration of this Web App has been uploaded to Azure tonight. This new version includes an Anagram finder, InWords finder, and dictionary functionality, as well as some improvements to the UX and UI. A big thanks to WordNik for the community edition of their dictionary API!
WebApp goes live
First iteration of this Web App has been uploaded to Azure and is publically available. Still lots of work to do yet though! Our aim is to bring a wide range of quality webapps to the interwebs for everyone to enjoy. Any monies raised through advertising on the RMHA Many Web Apps network go difrectly to charity.
