About the Many Web Apps Project

We here at RMHA need healthy outlets and hobbies too. Hobbies take us out of our everyday experience and give us a chance to do something we love and are passionate about.

So, we decided to create a series of web applications which provide handy and easy to use tools, which we might use regularly, where created for fun, or as a concept for learning a new technology.

Designing, developing, and maintaining these Apps enables us to develop skills and pass these skills onto others, and hopefully raise a few dollars for mental health advocacy along the way.

We hope you enjoy using these Apps as much as we did creating them.

About RMHA

We believe there is room for improvement in the funding and provision of mental health services to vulnerable people in regional Australia. Why?

People in regional, rural, or remote areas of Australia face more barriers to accessing healthcare, making it harder for them to maintain good mental health. Similarly, remoteness is a major risk factor contributing to suicide, with the likelihood of someone dying from suicide appearing to increase the further away from a city they live. These people also find vital support through regional, community-based mental health services.

RMHA supports mental health through the raising of funds. Those funds are then equitably distributed into community-connected organisations based in often under-resourced areas of Australia.
